Our Story
Welcome! I am Veronica Bishop, owner of Sugar Spark. I was born in Delaware and grew up there, and in Maryland. I came to Colorado in 2001 when my husband became stationed here with the military. We have been married for 35 years and have one beautiful daughter. I have always enjoyed creating, whether it be growing flowers and vegetables, sewing, crafting, scrapbooking, and even photography. I love animals and volunteer with Colorado Corgis and Friends Rescue - helping to save many dogs from being unnecessarily euthanized and to help them find their perfect forever home.
I was drawn to permanent jewelry (or better called clasp-less jewelry) because of its creativeness in tailoring one of a kind beautiful pieces of jewelry. I took welding many years ago in High School and very much enjoyed it. I immediately thought, "WOW! I want to do this!", and here I am. I take pride in creating something individual and unique and love seeing the happiness that people feel having their own special piece. I love seeing the closeness between mothers and daughters, best friends and loved ones when they celebrate special occasions with matching pieces. To be able to share in such joyous occasions makes my heart full.
